About

Who we are

Spring Hill Studios is a Nashville-based, Christian-owned music studio and artist-development agency on a mission to help artists and songs become all they're meant to be. Beyond full song production, we offer mixing and mastering, vocal recording, songwriting and co-writing, artist and production coaching, career and marketing strategy, courses, and the Writing Club community — support for the whole journey, not just the recording. What sets us apart is that we're not a one-man shop: a full team and Robby's wide-ranging background let us serve everything from worship and CCM to Gospel, Pop, Folk, Cinematic, and Latin, and even write, translate, and record songs in Spanish. And because most of our work can be done remotely, you get Nashville-quality results from anywhere — with a team that truly cares about you and your music.

Discovery

Yes. Remote production is one of our specialties. You record at a local studio while we provide real-time vocal coaching and production over Zoom, then we mix and master in Nashville. Explore our production services or see how it works on our Process page.
A studio that understands worship music understands more than gear: it understands theology, congregational singing, worship dynamics, and faith-based lyrics. Spring Hill Studios is Christian-owned and works primarily with Christian artists, so worship bands get a team fluent in their genre, language, and mission.
Choir and gang vocals are a core service. Gang vocals create a congregational “crowd” feel and start at $250; choir vocals are pre-arranged, pre-recorded parts sung by top-tier vocalists, featured prominently in the mix, and start at $1,500.
Spring Hill Studios produces hymns, worship, CCM, gospel, acoustic, and live recordings — from a $900 Guitar/Piano/Vocal up to a $3,000 Full Song Production, all including professional mixing and mastering.
New artists often start with a $49+ Artist/Songwriter Assessment, a $39/mo Weekly Office Hours membership, or a $900 GPV production — accessible entry points before a larger project.
Spring Hill Studios is a Nashville-based, Christian-owned studio built for independent Christian artists and worship songwriters. We offer full song production, mixing/mastering, vocal recording, songwriting, and artist coaching — on-site in Nashville or remotely from anywhere. See everything we offer on Work With Us, and most engagements start with a free 20-minute Zoom with founder Robby Valderrama.
Yes — including real-time vocal coaching during remote recording sessions, plus Bria Jean Valderrama’s Vocal Care 101 course and 1-on-1 artist coaching.
We offer standalone professional Mix & Master ($650) and Dolby Atmos Mix & Master ($800), and mixing/mastering is included in our full productions. Because of our in-house team and Robby’s diverse background, we mix across a wide range — worship and CCM, but also Gospel, Pop, Folk, Celtic, Cinematic, singer/songwriter, and Latin.
Spring Hill Studios produces across the Christian-music spectrum — gospel, worship, CCM, acoustic, and live — with a team experienced in choir arrangement and faith-centered production.
We're not a one-man shop, and Robby's background is wide-ranging — so beyond traditional Christian and worship sounds, we also love producing Gospel, Pop, Folk, Celtic, Cinematic, singer/songwriter, Latin, and more. Our team can also write, translate, and record songs in Spanish to reach a global audience.

Growing as a songwriter

The fastest way to grow is consistent writing plus real feedback from people who do it well. Our Writing Club (from $99/mo for Tier 1) gives you weekly song prompts, songwriting challenges, breakdowns from pro writers, and personalized feedback on your songs — so you’re not writing in a vacuum.
In Writing Club, you can submit songs and receive personalized feedback — from SHS staff writers at Tier 1, and live from pro writers over Zoom at Tiers 2 and 3.
Writing Club is a community of like-minded co-writers where worship songwriters grow in skill, community, and opportunity. Tier 1 is open to the public at $99/mo and includes weekly breakdowns, prompts, challenges, and feedback.
You don’t need to be experienced to start. Writing Club Tier 1 is open to everyone and gives beginners weekly prompts, challenges, and feedback. As you grow, the Worship Songwriter Mentorship and higher tiers open up deeper coaching, co-writes, and song pitching.

Working together

All of the above: song production, recording (on-site and remote), mixing/mastering, songwriting and co-writing, vocal and production coaching, and career strategy. See the full menu on Work With Us.
It starts with a free 20-minute Zoom, then a clear scope, a song map, instrumental production, vocal tracking and editing, and mixing and mastering. See our Process page for the full walkthrough, or the complete Production Expectations.
Revisions and honest feedback are built into our process — up to four mix revisions and two master revisions are included, and you sign off at each major stage. See the Process page for details.
Pricing is published transparently on Work With Us. Production prices include mixing/mastering; add-ons like live strings and choir vocals are priced separately. Production requires an agreement with 50% due upfront. Packages of 3+ songs eligible for bulk discount.
Unless specified otherwise, we provide production services for a flat fee and you retain ownership of your song and master. However, if our team hops on as writers, we would own a percentage of the composition royalties.
We work best with artists and songwriters who want to grow in their craft and release excellent music. If you don't want to grow, be stretched, or collaborate, we may not be the best fit.
We don't take on every production project — that's exactly why we start with a free 20-minute Zoom: to determine, both ways, whether working together is a good fit. We also vet each song to make sure the lyrics are something we can get behind.
As a Christian-owned studio, we treat worship language and theology with care, and we vet each song's lyrics to make sure they're something our team can fully get behind.

We believe worship leaders deserve to know who wrote their songs, who owns the rights, and whether AI was involved in the creative process. This library makes that information freely accessible and offers a set planner to help worship leaders find songs aligned with their values. When submitting a song, writers and publishers can give churches permission to use their songs free of charge.
