Gang Vocals / Choir Vocals

from $250.00

So… what’s the difference between Gang Vocals and Choir Vocals? That’s a question we receive a lot, and here’s how we like to explain it:
Gang Vocals is where we capture a “crowd” feel that adds to the emotion of the song, or makes a congregational worship song feel congregational. This requires less preparation and precision than Choir Vocals, and therefore is not usually featured as prominently in the song’s mix as Choir Vocals.
Choir Vocals is where we pre-arrange and pre-record particular parts, and hire top-tier vocalists to ensure the part lands just right. This, combined with extensive post-recording editing, allows Choir Vocals to be featured prominently in the song’s mix.
